The 2017 Brooks Fleet Pre-London Half Marathon uses a fast course with a mix of urban and rural roads. This is fully marshalled with excellent medical cover. This is an accurate course measured under UK Athletics rules (UKA licence number TBC). The 2017 course is based on previous years with a small change in the town and the final two miles which are now flatter and faster.
2017 - there is a minor change the first time runners go down Fleet Road. Just before the Kings Road traffic lights, the route will turn left into Stockton Avenue and then pick up the existing route further along Elvetham Road. Towards the end of the race, once runners have come along Pilcot Road from Dogmersfield the route will turn left into Hitches Lane, passed the new leisure centre (opening early March 2017), along cycle path outside Calthorpe Park school, rejoin Hitches Lane and then turn right into Fitzroy Road. The final section of the route will take runners left into Tavistock Road, back out onto Reading Road North and into Calthorpe Park for the run to the finish line.
